- Renaissance Background: Scores on the quiz for the background of the Renaissance (video and pg. 349-350, 352-355) were not acceptable. There will be another test on this material the week we return from Spring Break. Review your reading and notes. Here are some videos that might also help you understand these concepts:

- HW due Mon. 3/19/18: Read and make notes on the poems from your book listed below. Use the strategies we have practiced for reading and annotating poetry. Come to class with your original explanation of the main point for each poem. Also for each, be able to justify the type of Renaissance poem (carpe diem, pastoral, secular, sacred, metaphysical, cavalier, sonnet), keeping in mind that one poem can fit more than one category.
