  1. STC Semester Evaluations can be completed here. The deadline is Fri. 5/4/18.
  2. Show and Tell! Read and show poetry stories to the class. Please use your phones to take video of each reading and send it to me. Make sure you have shared / submitted the stories themselves to me.
  3. Discuss together the main points in the intro section for Mary Wollstonecraft (p. 95-98). Add to your notes for items you did not originally have.
  4. Due Mon. 4/30/18: The sub will give you a copy of a selection from "A Vindication of the Rights of Woman" by Mary Wollstonecraft and a study guide. You can:
                  A. Work on the passage and study guide in class today.
                       or
                  B. Take the passage and study guide for homework and work on painting your block                               today.
                       or
                  C. Work on teacher appreciation cards.

    I had to have a test at the hospital today. Please complete the following in class today:

    • At the bottom of your copy of the poem, write a sentence or two that explains the aspects of the poem that demonstrate it belongs to the Romantic Era.
    • Now look at the other poem, "The Cloud" by Percy Bysshe Shelley. Define the words in bold. Then, use the same process you saw in the videos to annotate the poem yourself. 
    • Answer the questions at the bottom of the last page. Turn this in before you leave.
    • HW due Wed. 4/18/18: Complete notes for Romantic Era background, p. 10-20. I will ask if there are any questions on Wed. and we will have our quiz on Fri.
